The Cleveland Mixer MTD series features a high efficiency — up to 98% — parallel shaft gear reducer. While most mixing can easily overload ordinary, commercial gear reducers, the MTD’s ultra rigid, single piece, high density, cast iron housing creates the foundation of bearing strength for long life of trouble free service. Oversized gussets at each bearing location and oversized bearings 
enable the MTD to bear the high bending and torque loads that are typical with most mixing applications.
